| Delve deep inside yourself, whether you
be male or female and you will find the Goddess within you. I firmly
believe that everyone has some of the Goddess in them, that if you look
hard enough you will find her. Finding her within you is worth
the search. |
|
| Meditation is one of the best tools to
use to do your inner searching. Sit quietly in a room with no distractions.
Make sure you are comfortable. If this means sitting on the floor
or sitting in your favorite chair, it doesn't matter. Just make sure
that you aren't so comfortable that you'll fall asleep. |
|
| Sometimes using a candle as a focus helps
me and other times I like to have soft moody music in the background.
One of my favorite ways is to sit on a stump in the forest and feel the
breeze ripple through my hair and listen to the chirping of the birds.
I have set chimes in my forest that send shimmering tones through the trees
at the slightest breeze. So when I am sitting in the woods it sounds
as if the wind is singing. |
|
| Whatever way you choose is fine, the point
is for you to create an atmosphere that helps you meditate. Once
seated, close your eyes and feel, feel with your mind. Feel the air
around you, feel your feet, your hands, your head. Reach inside your
mind and feel the sensation of being alone. Savor the sensation. |
|
| Then search a little deeper... concentrate
on the earth, concentrate on your connection to the earth, ask the Goddess
to show herself to you. She may do so by birds starting to sing,
wild animals showing up or if you are indoors, some other way. You
will know it is the Goddess no matter how she shows herself. |
|
| Feel the energy of the Goddess within
you, cherish it, create for it a home within you. End your meditation
by thanking the Goddess. |
