This can be used whenever you are going into a new abode. It doesn’t matter if it is an apartment or a house; it only matters that it is new to you. 

Combine the following items in a jar that allows about 1 inch of headroom between the ingredients and the top of the jar. 

In this order add to the jar:
1 Tbsp.  Salt
1 Tbsp.  Breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. Dry milk
1 Tbsp.  Lavender flowers
1 Tbsp.  Ground sage
1 Tbsp.  Apple pie spice
1 Tbsp. Earth from the garden

All of these things represent some form of sustenance or an ingredient to something that will bring well being to you and those that live in your house. 

Place the jar in a closet or cupboard that is nearest to the main door. If things are really working out well you will have a door that faces the eastern horizon, if not go to whatever door or window that does face in this direction and use the following charm of making.
